As Head of IT Portfolio Management, you will play a central role in ensuring that Global IT focuses on the initiatives that truly matter, balances value, risk, and capacity, and delivers transparent, reliable insights that leadership can trust. About the role

Reporting to the Head of CIO Office, you will lead and further develop IT Portfolio Management across Global IT. Your mandate is to ensure a predictable, transparent, and value‑driven IT project portfolio – fully aligned with IT-verticals, business, and IT strategies, and available capacity.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across IT, Finance, and Group PMO, enabling leadership to make informed decisions on priorities, investments, and trade‑offs. With direct people responsibility and a strong network across the organisation, you will shape both governance and culture around how IT delivers change.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Demand & intake management – ensuring new initiatives are assessed, prioritised, and approved based on strategic alignment, value, feasibility, and resource availability in cooperation with Group PMO.
  • Portfolio governance & ways of working – establishing and maintaining effective portfolio processes for Global IT, and accountability across Global IT.
  • Portfolio transparency & reporting – providing consolidated, executive‑ready insights on project status, dependencies, risks, and progress.
  • Resource & investment management – balancing funding and capacity across the portfolio to support strategic priorities.
  • Value tracking & benefits realisation – ensuring IT initiatives deliver measurable business value and learnings are applied going forward.
  • Leadership & collaboration – building strong partnerships with Group PMO, Finance, IT verticals, and senior IT leadership, while leading and developing your team

  • Solid, hands‑on experience with IT portfolio governance, processes, and decision frameworks
  • Proven people leadership experience and the ability to set direction, engage, and develop others
  • Strong understanding of project management, funding models, resource planning, and benefits realisation
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders across functions
  • A structured, analytical, and value‑focused approach with high personal drive and integrity
  • The ability to navigate complexity, balance competing priorities, and turn insight into action
