Own the direction of our global WMS – and drive high-performance results

You will be responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and development of our WMS IT subdivision. While fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth, you will increase the efficiency metrics and achieve annual cost reductions.

Overall, you will manage both operations and innovation with a strong business focus – while ensuring security, compliance, and optimisation across systems.

Some of your areas of responsibility will be to:

• Develop and implement WMS IT strategies and policies aligned with DSV’s global goals
• Collaborate with executive leadership, department heads, and external partners to assess technology needs and opportunities as well as drive business results
• Manage budget, resource allocation and operational efficiency across teams
• Establish a motivated and efficient WMS delivery IT organization
• Continuously monitor and improve IT processes, workflows, and performance metrics to enhance productivity
• Ensure compliance, cybersecurity, and system performance in a complex IT landscape
• Plan and execute migration of legacy to strategic WMS and decommissioning of legacy WMS

Seasoned IT leader with a strategic edge and team vision

With your ability to lead large-scale teams and drive change, you are ready to take ownership of DSV’s global WMS setup. You have a clear vision for enhancing user experience and optimizing IT solutions for operational success – and you know how to turn strategy into tangible results.

We furthermore imagine that you:

• Have 10+ years of experience in IT leadership – especially driving performance and fostering collaboration in large teams (100+ associates)
• Hold a degree in IT, Computer Science, or Supply Chain Management
• Bring expertise in WMS and 3PL solutions as well as solid knowledge of warehouse management technologies, logistics automation, and inventory control systems
• Are well-versed in SAP EWM, Blue Yonder or similar platforms
• Have proven experience with developing and tracking performance metrics, and successfully applying continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean or Six Sigma)
• Have a solid understanding of common IT standards and processes
• Are a strong communicator, confident presenter and know how to manage various stakeholders in a complex organisation like ours
• Are fluent in spoken and written English

You will be based at our headquarters in Hedehusene, Danmark.
