Job Req Number:  114114
Time Type: Full Time

Are you ready to take ownership of SAP roles and authorizations in a truly global set‑up – and lead a skilled, distributed team where structure, trust, and collaboration make a real difference every day?

At DSV, you’ll help secure and enable critical business processes across Finance IT, working at the heart of a global organization that keeps the world moving.

About the role

As Manager for Roles and Authorizations, you will head the Roles and Authorizations team within the Platform Services Department in Finance IT – Global IT. You lead a team of seven specialists based across Europe, Brazil, and India, combining people leadership with hands‑on contribution where needed to ensure quality, progress, and credibility within the domain.

You are part of the extended leadership team in Finance IT and play a key role in setting direction, priorities, and the roadmap for roles and authorizations across DSV’s global SAP landscape. Together with your team and close stakeholders in SAP, compliance, and the business, you ensure secure, compliant, and efficient access management while continuously improving processes, standards, and ways of working.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, developing, and setting direction for a globally distributed team of roles and authorizations specialists
  • Responsible for role design, maintenance, and user access management in SAP, aligned with SoD and least‑privilege principles
  • Defining, maintaining, and implementing SAP security standards and policies, ensuring compliance across countries and organisational units
  • Ensuring transparency and audit readiness through monitoring access, managing audit logs, and supporting internal and external audits
  • Managing emergency access procedures and contributing to security upgrades, improvements, and patches
  • Collaborating closely with global process owners, compliance, internal IT teams, and external partners to balance security, usability, and business needs
  • Contributing hands‑on where it adds value, while ensuring clear prioritisation and effective delegation within the team
  • Handle and dispatch tickets so we meet our KPI’s and SLA’s

At DSV, you will work in a dynamic, international environment where your input helps shape global solutions and standards — and where initiative, accountability, and continuous improvement are valued and encouraged. You will join a culture built on trust, transparency, and collaboration, with room to grow both the function and yourself as a leader.

About you

We are open to different professional backgrounds, but we expect you to bring strong subject‑matter expertise within SAP access control, roles, and authorizations, combined with the ambition and capability to lead people in a complex, global setup.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have hands‑on experience with access control, roles, and authorizations management
  • Bring solid experience with SAP solutions and implementations, and are able to translate operational insights into strategic direction and ensure execution
  • Are experienced in working within complex IT landscapes, preferably in large international organizations and/or consultancy environments
  • Are comfortable leading and collaborating with highly skilled specialists across geographies, cultures, and time zones
  • Take ownership with a structured, risk‑aware approach to security, compliance, and delivery
  • Create clarity and alignment across stakeholders through open, confident, and structured communication
  • Navigate complexity and change while keeping people, priorities, and outcomes on track
  • Thrive in a global, fast‑moving environment where collaboration and trust are key
  • Leading your team with trust, presence, and hands‑on engagement

Formal people‑management experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite. The role may suit a candidate with a strong expert background who has demonstrated the ability to lead through influence, drive change, and create sustainable impact on people and organization—and who is ready to grow into, or further develop in a manager role.

Ready to move to the next step?

We accept applications until 31 May 2026, but we screen candidates on an ongoing basis, so we recommend applying early. No cover letter needed; just include a short motivation in your CV.

If you would like to know more about the role, you are welcome to contact Head of Platform Services Kenneth Bomholdt at kenneth.bomholdt@dsv.com.
