Operational Accounting Domain | Global Operational Excellence | Air & Sea

Location: Anywhere in European time zone

The Operational Accounting Domain within Global Operational Excellence is looking for an Operational Excellence Manager to help drive standardisation, governance, and continuous improvement across Air & Sea. The role focuses on operational accounting processes, business rules, master data, financial structures, and TANGO enablement. 

Your responsibilities and impact

You will join the Operational Accounting Domain within Global Operational Excellence, working closely with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Tax, Technology, and Production Systems. In this role, you will help shape and improve the processes, governance structures, and system capabilities that support operational accounting across Air & Sea.

Your focus will be on creating transparency, standardisation, and efficiency across key operational accounting processes while supporting the continued development of TANGO and related business capabilities.

You will:

• Drive improvements to operational accounting processes and ways of working
• Support governance of Air & Sea business rules, financial structures, and relevant master data
• Work closely with Operations, Finance, Tax, Technology, and Production Systems teams globally
• Support TANGO process development, testing, and implementation activities
• Document processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive standardisation
• Help improve data quality, compliance, and operational efficiency

Success in this role comes from creating clarity, improving data quality, and helping ensure operational accounting processes support efficient and compliant business operations across DSV's global network.

What you bring

You are curious, analytical, and motivated by understanding how processes, systems, and business rules work together. You enjoy collaborating across functions and are comfortable navigating complex operational environments.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of TANGO
• Has experience with operational accounting and/or finance-related operational processes
• Has experience from Air & Sea Operations, Process Management, Systems Support, or a similar area
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Works in a structured and detail-oriented way
• Communicates effectively and manages stakeholders confidently
• Is eager to develop expertise within a specialised operational excellence domain
