As an Operational Key Account Manager – focusing on seafreight in DSV's Global Aid & Relief team, you will play an important role in managing complex international shipments that support humanitarian and development efforts around the world. Based in our Air & Sea headquarters in Hedehusene, you will join a dedicated team that combines professional freight forwarding expertise with a strong sense of purpose.

What you will do

You will manage international seafreight shipments for a portfolio of Aid & Relief customers, ensuring reliable and cost-efficient transport solutions from origin to destination.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing end-to-end seafreight shipments for key customers and ad hoc projects
• Procuring and negotiating freight solutions with carriers, agents and internal stakeholders
• Acting as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers and DSV offices worldwide
• Building strong customer relationships through proactive communication and service excellence
• Evaluating routing options and transport solutions based on customer requirements
• Monitoring service performance and ensuring high-quality delivery
• Managing shipment visibility, EDI processes and operational deviations
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and create smarter ways of working

What you bring

We imagine that you have experience within international freight forwarding and enjoy working in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same.

To succeed in the role, you:

• Are a trained freight forwarder with experience in seafreight operations
• Communicate confidently in English
• Have strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Work in a structured and analytical way, with attention to detail
• Are comfortable using digital tools and systems, including Excel and Outlook
• Take ownership and maintain momentum, even when priorities change
• Enjoy building relationships and delivering excellent customer service

Experience within Aid & Relief, NGO logistics, healthcare or pharma logistics is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
