Projects / Special Projects / Business Support

Job Req Number:  36729
Time Type: Full Time

Would you like to join our remarkable growth journey here at DSV and have the chance to impact and shape significant quality processes across our organisation?

“At DSV, we have an extremely high focus on investing in our employees, and we often have people move to another position within DSV when they want to challenge themselves – this brings high satisfaction across our organisation, a fact that we are very proud of and focus on every day,” says Director, IT Governance Tonni Nielsen.

Welcome to IT Governance
In this exciting, new and permanent position within our larger IT Organisation, Process & Master Data Governance, you will find your new team – IT Governance. Here, we are responsible for all technical documentation, disaster recovery and change control across DSV Global IT.

Within this role based out of either Hedehusene, Warszawa or our Manila offices, you will join your new team, consisting of 8 specialists, many of whom have several years of experience within DSV and extensive knowledge of our processes across the business. They enjoy working in depth and are a very professional team who take pride in handling DSV processes.

Structure, renew and update documentation processes across DSV
As our new colleague, your overall responsibility will be to ensure the future development of DSV’s IT documentation framework. Thus, our entire organisation will more or less be your playground, ensuring that you cover all aspects in your projects when you build the next level of a documentation framework.

You will have a very outgoing role as you will work closely with several global business units to guide and train colleagues in the use of master data and documentation. Furthermore, you will play an important part in professionalising the way we work – both internally in the team and in Global IT – making our processes more transparent and even smarter.

Specifically, some of your tasks will include:

  • Broad communication through the IT organisation to ensure that all stakeholders have been heard
  • Analysing data and amending reports, PowerPoint presentations, diagrams and charts for our management reporting
  • Acting as point of contact when documentation support is needed – both for internal and external requests
  • Staying updated on market trends and best practices
  • Coordination/prioritisation of workload according to stakeholders, including monitoring progress and intervention as necessary to prioritise tasks
  • Supporting and training colleagues in new processes across Global IT

“Quality and documentation are truly high-attention areas at DSV, giving you a great base to do what you do best – shape and implement the most optimal documentation processes to ensure that our business-critical documentation is handled correctly”, elaborates Director, IT Governance Tonni Nielsen.

You are highly organised and quality-focused with an attention to detail
With your motivation and ability to move forward, you have a way with getting people to follow your path, though you simultaneously manage to keep the holistic overview. As a person with a high attention to both detail and quality, your work is always well-structured and organised.

You are a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, and you are further a self-starter who enjoys solving problems and helping others achieve goals.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a master’s degree within engineering, computer science, library science or similar, backed up with some technical background/knowledge
  • Either have some years of experience from a similar position, working with technical documentation and related processes in a complex IT environment, or were at the top of your class when you recently graduated
  • Have experience working with digital documentation platforms as well as ITIL or similar industry methodologies
  • Possess strong visual presentation skills in e.g. PowerPoint
  • Speak English on a conversational level and have strong verbal presentation skills as well
