Join the Global Quote Domain team!

In joining our domain, you’ll be part of a small, dynamic team responsible for a portfolio of applications or value streams, where you will inhabit a key position in shaping and executing Air & Sea’s digital product strategy and meet the needs of our colleagues and customers around the world.

You will also become part of our global Digital Product & Services organization under our the Air & Sea COO, which is responsible for driving Air & Sea’s customer focused agenda and internal business processes globally. The function comprises of 75 dedicated colleagues around the world, who work together to shape efficient and scalable solutions – reinforcing our core business of transportation and logistics – towards customers and internal users, by easing the exchange of information, creating transparency, providing insights and improving collaboration.

Translate business goals into outcomes – from strategy to adoption

As product manager, you will take ownership of a key area within the domain scope, where you will drive the development of one or more solutions and affiliated processes, which supports Air & Sea’s strategic ambitions within the “request to contract”-space.

Essentially, by investigating and understanding Air & Sea’s pain points and user needs, you build up the foundation to form the functional requirements of the final solutions and outcomes. Throughout this, you will collaborate with teams across Business, IT and Management, to jointly set the agenda, priority and road map for delivering exceptional products that drive customer value and sustainable growth.

As such, key responsibilities include:

• Product strategy: Develop, refine and manage the product vision, strategy and road map, safeguarding the stable delivery of scalable and cost-efficient solutions
• Solution Definition: Conduct in-depth analysis to gather and prioritize product requirements by using qualitative and quantitative data to identify friction points and opportunities along the user journey, ensuring alignment between business goals and customer expectations
• Feature development: Work closely with business and IT to translate requirements into user stories, create product specifications and oversee the delivery process
• Stakeholder Management: Foster strong partnerships with commercial, operations, IT and management to safeguard efficient delivery and solid expectation setting
• Product and Project Management: Assess product performance, obtain user feedback, drive delivery plans and collaborate with other delivery teams to ensure the application works as intended and continues to improve and evolve

Analytically skilled with digital mindset

Ideally you possess experience within pricing, quoting or rate management, as well as working with product management and digital solutions. Equally important are your analytical and communication skills, as well as your ability to navigate within a large matrix organization. You’re not afraid to challenge the status-quo, while still mastering the art of compromise.

• Experience within price, quote and / or rate management
• Process savvy and analytically well-founded with confidence in using data
• Efficient communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building consensus between commercial, operational and technical perspectives
• Idea generator with a passion for opportunity identification and problem solving
• Result driven and ambitious – we keep our promises and the pace is usually high
• Written and verbal corporate English language skills
• Understanding of project management principles
