Join the Global Product Management team
Based at our office in Hedehusene, Denmark, you become part of our Global Business Change Management setup (Global BCM), which is responsible for supporting our customer focus agenda and internal business processes globally and across all our divisions. Our team work together to shape standard and scalable add-on services to support our core freight business towards our customers by easing the exchange of information, creating insights and providing visibility.

If you join our team, you will take charge of a key area within our organisation. Here, you will drive the development of solutions and processes that increase visibility for critical shipments in DSV (pharma, theft prevention, time critical etc.). Furthermore, you will ensure monitoring and end to end visibility for regular shipments by applying the latest technologies. 

Take ownership of our visibility tools
As product owner you will be taking the lead in driving forward and developing our visibility services. 
Taking ownership of forming and managing these services – and with a hands-on approach – you will play a key role in building up our new visibility services by investigating and understanding DSV’s and our customers’ pain points when transporting critical shipments around the globe. 

This insight will provide a critical foundation to form the functional requirements and needs towards the final sellable services. Through this process, you will coordinate with our internal control towers to define their processes and ensure internal awareness/training of our sales teams and operations. As the market around visibility evolves rapidly, you will facilitate the testing of innovative physical tracking devices (attached to shipments, warehouses, crates etc.). You will connect with external providers to obtain data from e.g. flight, vessel, rail, trailer GPS, weather predictions, traffic status etc. to develop tomorrow’s visibility solution with a focus on scalable and cost efficient offerings towards our customers and automation of internal processes.

More specifically your tasks include:

  • Form the commercial appearance for visibility services
  • Increase internal awareness related to visibility offerings 
  • Attend sales meetings with customers showing interest in visibility solutions
  • Develop the process design and definition for the visibility control towers
  • Manage the product roadmap
  • Define user stories and coordinate development with Global IT and the Divisional Product Owner (DPO)  
  • Test new developments and coordinate User Acceptance Testing of these
  • Support and guide DPO in future development 
  • Keep relevant stakeholders informed

Technological curiosity and operational understanding
You are the right fit for this position if you have a keen interest in the latest technology and an interest in how it applies to our solutions.

Equally important are your communication skills and ability to navigate within and across our organisation. It is also vital that you are not afraid to challenge the business to ensure that we deliver standardised and efficient solutions while still mastering the art of compromise.

  • You have excellent written and verbal corporate English language skills (English is the DSV corporate language)
  • You have a business, tech or logistics background
  • You understand project management principals
  • You have a mindset around shaping solutions into sellable offerings
  • You are result driven to meet deadlines and end goal
  • It is an advantage if you understand the basics of supply chain
