Job Req Number: 127919
Time Type: Full Time
DSV is one of the world’s largest transport and logistics companies, and our customers, partners and regulators expect us to know how secure we are at any given time. That expectation grows every year, and it makes the work of measuring and reporting on security more important than ever – we are only as strong as our ability to see where we stand.
As Security Compliance Analyst, you will build and maintain that picture through security metrics and key controls, which gives senior management and the Board of Directors a clear, data-based view to support their decisions and helps keep our global operations secure, compliant and reliable.
Your role and impact
The role is part of a broader GRC agenda, and you will contribute to initiatives across information security, governance, regulatory and compliance. Much of your work is done in collaboration with security specialists across IT, who hold the detailed knowledge your reporting depends on. Getting the right input from them, and agreeing on what should be measured and how, calls for strong collaboration skills and a diplomatic approach.
You will have ownership of your area and room to develop it. Senior management and the Board of Directors read what you write, so clear and well-structured writing is a core part of the role. You thrive in a changing environment, keep things moving and make sure decisions get made.
You will join the Security Governance & Risk team within Group Information Security & Compliance. We are a diverse team of 16 skilled colleagues with a collaborative culture. At DSV we work physical from the office four days a week, which keeps dialogue informal and makes it easy to involve colleagues early. In this role, you will work closely with the management in the team as well as the CISO from our office in Hedehusene.
Your primary tasks:
• Drive and continuously improve the security metrics process and the key control framework, in close collaboration with security specialists across IT.
• Support updates to information security policies and ensure they are reflected in controls and metrics.
• Analyse security data and control attestations to identify trends, risks and areas that need attention.
• Translate complex IT security data into clear, structured reporting that supports decision-making for senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives across the GRC team where structure, analysis and follow-through are needed.
Success in this role comes from getting the right data in on time, maintaining a strong working relationship with specialists across IT, and delivering reporting that decision-makers can rely on.
What you bring
You are analytical by nature and have worked with several parts of the field, for example security metrics, IT controls, compliance frameworks or policy work. You understand how policies, controls and metrics depend on each other, and that understanding is what makes your reporting solid and convincing.
You are familiar with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2 or similar, and you understand how they connect to controls and metrics. Certifications such as CISA, CISM or CISSP are an advantage but not a requirement.
Your educational background may be in IT, information security, business administration or a related field; what matters most is your ability to work with security data and turn it into a clear message that senior management and a non-technical audience can understand.
You could for example have a background as a business analyst, where you have built reporting and analysis across different parts of an organisation and are used to getting data from people who have other priorities. Or you could have held responsibility for security reporting, control testing or compliance in a large organisation. What matters most is that you thrive in an environment where priorities move, that you are proactive in your work and have a diplomatic mind that gets collaboration moving.
Why join DSV
As Security Compliance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to shape how security is measured and reported in one of the world’s largest transport and logistics companies, where your work will be seen and used at the highest level of the organisation.
You will become part of a performance-driven organisation where decisions are made close to the business and where there is room to take initiative, recommend a direction and follow the work through.
