Time Type: Full Time

Are you the kind of person who gets a thrill from making organisational changes smooth and impactful?

A real peoples-person, who understand how to keep things clear (no matter how complex), and have a knack for making change feel like a walk in the park (or at least, not a marathon)?

We are looking for a Senior Business Change Manager to join our Change Management & Communications team in DSV’s Road division

At DSV, we believe that changes should be as engaging as they are essential - we lead change communications for DSV Road group and provide senior expertise for effective change leadership across our global DSV Road business.
Here, you have the chance to join one of the largest Transport & Logistics businesses in the world - take on a central role to navigate through our future organisational transitions and lead the way for more than 17,000 people, controlling +20,000 trucks daily, and handling over 30 million shipments yearly.

The position as Senior Business Change Manager is located at our DSV head office in Hedehusene, Denmark.

Lead change management and communication efforts linked to our strategy

You will join a 5-person Change Management & Communications team that’s all about clarity, connection, and keeping things real. We are the center of excellence in DSV Road group to drive internal change communications that makes sense for our DSV colleagues at all levels in the organisation.

You will be part of drawing the big-pictures, ensure the required change planning and communications, while delivering single topic storytelling on our SharePoint site too.The role works hand-in-hand with our executive leaders and global leadership teams to advise and support their change leadership efforts, while they lead our business transition effectively.
One of your key responsibilities is to make sure everyone – from top-tier leaders to people on the ground – know what’s coming, understand it, and (dare we say) feels excited about it and the urge to engage personally.

What we’re looking for

A seasoned change  manager and change communications profile by heart and brain – with the ability to bring your extensive knowledge into useful play in larger and diverse organisations.
You know from own experience that change management is about people and not just about theory and making great plans.

Moreover,

  • You are structured and proactive with your stakeholders – no need to say excellent in building strong relations across a new and broad network in DSV.
  • You are a details and deadlines ninja, meaning you’re very organised but with the sense for flexibility that all change management work requires.
  • Experiences from M&As and leading bigger organisational changes / transitions are considered a strong plus.

What can you expect from our team – and what does it require from you

You will join a strong and homogeneous team that values honesty, work-life balances, and that work should be fun while challenging and developing. We work with our individual tasks and areas of responsibilities, but we´re in it together to support the DSV Road division and lifting Change Management to the stars.
And we ARE all team-players - sounds as a cliché, but here it is not! We know the true value of cohesion and our team is made up of fantastic people who always back each other up to deliver on our joint promises and ownerships.

To inspire and share knowledge, we favor taking time out to sit together, share views, spare on challenges, and help each other move forward.

Socialising and building relations on off-DSV topics is also key to us and actively show interest in each other and enjoy the daily informal dialogues and good laughs together.

Therefore, we expect you to be:

  • A Social and out-going person by nature and with an authentic interest to invest time in people around you.
  • Of course, you already know how to organise yourself and can structure your time and deliveries accordingly - but you also know when time is right and how to ask for the help/support needed.
  • You have a positive and constructive mindset and the ability to keep cool under pressure or when meeting challenging prioritisations.
  • You are not afraid of saying something stupid (it doesn´t exist) or pop a new idea out in the open – this is part of our daily teamwork.
  • You have a natural desire to evolve as a person and develop your skills further – the opportunities for growth and development are not set, as we strongly believe in developing people further.

DSV keeps supply chains running across the globe, at our core we are in the business of getting things from A to B in full and on time, that translates to a culture of getting things done effectively, so we sometimes move quickly and we always set high expectations.

If this didn’t scare you off, you’re likely the brave soul, we’re after!
