As P&O Business Partner for division, Global Contract Logistics (CL), you support leaders across the world – enabling growth, transformation, and strong performance.

Your responsibilities and impact

You act as a trusted P&O Business Partner, supporting the division by aligning business priorities with people solutions that enable growth, performance, and transformation.

 

In this role, you operate across a broad range of topics and initiatives, where your impact is visible in both strategy and execution:

 

  • Advise the global CL business on people-related matters, ensuring alignment between business needs and P&O practices
  • Drive and execute the people strategy for CL, enabling sustainable business growth
  • Lead global harmonisation of people practices and support large-scale transformation initiatives in a dynamic, international environment
  • Own and drive annual people processes in close collaboration with leaders, strengthening talent development, succession planning, and a performance-driven culture
  • Partner with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to design and implement modern P&O products and services that support business success

 

Furthermore, you will participate in tasks related to the following areas:

 

Recruitment:

  • Determine hiring needs with hiring managers
  • Support the business in identifying the right assessment tool for each need
  • Steer the hiring process together with the Talent Acquisition Team
  • Define offer proposals as per Total Rewards Guidelines and support the hiring process
  • Coordinate and execute effective onboarding processes, enabling rapid integration and productivity of new hires

 

Annual People Cycle:

  • Kick off the Priority Setting and Performance Review process
  • Support the development of performance management awareness and capability amongst employees and managers within CL
  • Coach leaders on performance cases or exits and support best practices in feedback and people development

 

Talent and Succession Planning:

  • Identify local critical positions together with the CL Business
  • Steer the preparation, moderation, and follow-up of Talent Reviews
  • Ensure a strong CL succession pipeline, including advising on development plans and succession planning
  • Consult and train leaders in choosing and enrolling in the appropriate Talent and Leadership Development measures for their employees
  • Review/consult on planned development actions of identified talent
  • Engage with and nurture top talent in the respective area

 

Learning & Development

  • Support L&D with global rollouts of processes, products and communication
  • Identify upskilling needs in the respective area and team up with L&D to initiate measures and initiatives

 

Total Rewards & Compensation

  • Partner with Global, Regional and Local Total Rewards for guidelines, data and analysis
  • Implement and execute global compensation and reward structures and processes
  • Partner with managers and provide input for salary reviews, merit processes, and out-of-cycle adjustments

 

Important stakeholders in this position:

  • Support senior and middle managers in global Contract Logistics
  • Cooperate with the regional and local P&O teams
  • Collaborate with global P&O CoE to implement P&O solutions

 

Solid and strong HR experience in Business Partnering from a global matrix organisation:

With a solid foundation in HR and a strong understanding of global matrix organisations, you combine strategic insight with a hands-on mindset. You hold a relevant Master’s degree (e.g. in economics or psychology), work independently, and communicate fluently in English across diverse cultures and organisational levels.

 

You bring:

  • Extensive HR Business Partnering experience (7+ years) within a global matrix organisation, with a strong understanding of core HR processes and emerging trends
  • Proven track record in driving large-scale HR initiatives, such as transformations and change management programmes
  • Strong strategic and conceptual capabilities, combined with the ability to translate strategy into operational execution
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, enabling you to build trust and collaborate effectively across cultures and organisational levels
  • High level of ownership and proactivity, with the ability to set direction and drive your own agenda
