Time Type: Full Time
Shape the future of warehouse automation
At DSV, technology keeps global supply chains moving. As Senior Product Owner, Automation IT, you will drive the digital solutions that enable smarter and increasingly automated warehouse operations.
Working at the intersection of business, IT, and automation, you will turn complex requirements into scalable, reliable solutions and play a key role in shaping how automation technologies are implemented and operated across DSV.
Your responsibilities and impact
You will own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery for the IT systems supporting warehouse automation. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, automation specialists, and external vendors, you will drive both the implementation of new solutions and the evolution of existing platforms.
From solution design and integration to go-live and ongoing optimisation, you will ensure a secure, scalable, and future-ready automation landscape.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for Automation IT
- Lead the implementation of new warehouse automation solutions from requirements and design through integration, testing, and go-live
- Ensure seamless integration between automation solutions and the broader IT landscape.
- Manage the lifecycle of existing automation platforms, including upgrades, enhancements, support, and continuous improvement
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritise the product backlog based on business value, risks, dependencies, and strategic objectives
- Collaborate with architects, developers, integration specialists, automation teams, and external partners to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure solutions comply with architectural standards, security requirements, and IT best practices
- Drive delivery progress, manage dependencies, and communicate priorities, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and ways of working
You thrive in complex environments, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum from initial concept to long-term operation.
What you bring
You are an experienced product or technology professional who thrives at the intersection of IT, systems, and automation. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and can translate complex business needs into scalable technology solutions.
To thrive and succeed in the role, we imagine you have:
- Experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, IT Project Manager or in a comparable senior technology role
- A strong understanding of complex IT landscapes, integrations, APIs, and enterprise systems
- Experience leading technology solutions from concept and implementation through go-live and ongoing operation
- Solid knowledge of solution architecture, security, scalability, and operational requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across business, IT, and external partners
- A structured, pragmatic, and value-driven approach to balancing business needs, technical requirements, and competing priorities
- Experience with warehouse automation, logistics systems, robotics, WMS, WCS, or similar technologies is an advantage. Most importantly, you can navigate complex IT environments and drive technology solutions that create business value.
What this role offers
- Ownership of a strategically important product area at the intersection of IT, automation, and business transformation
- The opportunity to shape and scale warehouse automation solutions across a global organisation
- End-to-end influence, from solution design and implementation to long-term optimisation
- Collaboration with international stakeholders across business, technology, and automation
- The chance to turn innovative technologies into tangible business value
- Opportunities to grow your expertise while helping define the future of Automation IT at DSV
