Join our new team
We currently have one development team in our department, and we are looking to scale our competencies by building a new team. You will be an integral part of this new team by filling the role of a Product Owner and Team Lead for a new team that will resemble the existing team we have in the Data & Analytics unit in DSV. In your role, you will work across many disciplines by contributing to the following activities:

  • Requirements gathering & specification
  • Backlog prioritization
  • Stakeholder management
  • Test management (not as a dedicated test manager, but as a facilitator)
  • Product roadmap definition
  • Facilitation of the agile development process and ceremonies


The use cases
The focus of our team is to build advanced end-2-end solutions that create direct business value for DSV’s divisions, including for example:

  • Address validation: Validation of spelling and correctness of addresses, including adjustments to the address based on analytics and information retrieval
  • And many more to come…


The word “advanced” is used to underline that the use cases we solve tend to have a high degree of complexity, requiring non-deterministic problem solving (i.e. the use of ML/AI), near real-time data processing, a need for high availability, vertical and horizontal scalability and a very high volume of transactions. However, fancy technologies and accurate ML models do not solve the issues at hand alone; we strive to combine our competencies to build holistic solutions where the underlying complexity is hidden for the user to create simple and value-adding experiences.


Learn new stuff from knowledgeable colleagues – and to have fun while working
You will gather requirements together with business experts, balancing the need for understanding the details and complexity of their work with the ability to see how this could be solved differently and smarter in the future. Moreover, you will:

  • Determine and prioritize PI goals and Sprint goals together with the business owners, but also to validate these together with the team by estimating work and breaking down the team’s capacity to make sure we don’t overpromise
  • Drive the team forward by structuring the requirements into epics and user stories and to prioritize the backlog
  • Facilitate the agile development process and the agile ceremonies as part of the process
  • Plan ahead by thinking about what needs to be tested to ensure the solution lives up to agreed acceptance criteria (functional and non-functional)
  • Break down requirements into iterations so they can deliver value quickly in MVP versions before they are enriched with more nice-to-have functionality in later iterations
  • Deliver nice user experiences for real users that make a difference to everyday work experience
  • Take a lot of responsibility
  • Reach out to others for help or clarifications whenever you need it and to ensure alignment with others
  • Assess the need for reusability with speed and simplicity in the current implementation to find the right balance
