Do you bring extensive experience in senior logistics management and the ambition to secure strong SLA performance, robust customer relations, and continuous strategic optimisation? As Supervisor, you will maintain a high‑level operational overview, drive results through your Team Leaders, and foster strong customer engagement.

 

 

About the Position

 

 

As a Supervisor, you will hold overall responsibility for operational performance and SLA compliance at the site. You will lead and develop a team of Team Leaders, ensure optimal resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your focus will be on strategic oversight, customer satisfaction, and adherence to contractual obligations. You will report to the Site Manager and be part of the site’s management team, collaborating closely across departments and locations.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Provide overall leadership and coaching to Team Leaders, including performance management, development, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure SLA compliance, customer requirements, and internal standards across inbound, outbound, inventory management, and quality
  • Maintain close customer contact, participate in review meetings, deliver performance reporting, and manage customer inquiries
  • Prepare, analyse, and follow up on KPIs relating to productivity, cost control, customer service, and SLA performance
  • Implement improvements and drive Continuous Improvement activities (Lean, CAPA) and ongoing process optimisation
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, QHSES standards, and customer-specific requirements (e.g., GDP, ISO, Code of Conduct)
  • Coordinate resources, manage shift planning, and support budget monitoring in cooperation with the Site Manager
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and cross-site projects

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

 

  • Solid leadership experience within logistics, 3PL, or contract logistics (minimum 3–5 years), ideally with leadership of leaders and direct customer interaction
  • Strong understanding of SLA management, KPI follow-up, and performance management
  • Experience with WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Manhattan, or similar) and logistics operational processes
  • Full professional proficiency in Danish and English, both written and spoken, as customer communication is often international
  • Strategic mindset, structured working style, and excellent relationship-building skills – you lead through clarity, dialogue, and a results-oriented approach
  • Preferably experience with Lean, Continuous Improvement, or similar methodologies
