Job Req Number: 117267
Time Type: Full Time
Do you want to play a key role in shaping how technology compliance is managed across an international business – and the world’s largest transport and logistics company?
Join us and gain a visible and influential role where you will have the opportunity to build and improve a framework that supports growth, strengthens governance, and creates a more consistent and sustainable approach to compliance across the business.
“If you are ready to take ownership of a role where you can combine compliance expertise, framework development, and stakeholder collaboration to drive real impact, this is the job for you,” says Danielle Holmes, Director, Group Vertical Compliance.
Join a collaborative and international compliance team
Based in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will become part of our international Group Vertical Compliance team with colleagues located across the globe, from Panama to Singapore. The team is divided into two areas: a support area of 6 colleagues responsible for implementation, auditing, and training related to our framework; and your area, the vertical-specific area, with a senior compliance manager, 2 colleagues responsible for healthcare, 1 for automotive, and 1 for aerospace and defense.
“We originally started with the healthcare vertical and have since expanded into additional areas due to strong results. Those are also built on our team spirit, where we meet online quite often and create a supportive environment where you never feel on your own, no matter your location,” explains Danielle.
Strengthen governance and improve consistency
Working across technology, operations, and business teams, you will play a central role in strengthening governance, improving consistency, and helping the organisation manage technology compliance in a clear, structured, and sustainable way.
Specifically, you will create, maintain, and improve the technology compliance framework to support business and regulatory requirements. This also involves developing clear standards, controls, and guidance that can be applied consistently across relevant operations and functions. Your aim is to ensure a framework that remains current, practical, and aligned with internal expectations, customer commitments, and external requirements.
Moreover, you will:
- Monitor compliance against the framework, identify areas for improvement, and support the development of corrective actions where needed.
- Use audits, reviews, findings, and stakeholder feedback to strengthen the framework and improve effectiveness over time.
- Track changes in requirements, risks, and business needs to ensure the framework evolves in a controlled and proportionate way.
- Support governance activities, risk discussions, and decision-making related to technology compliance priorities.
- Build strong relationships across the business to drive accountability, consistency, and shared ownership of compliance outcomes.
Experience with governance and compliance from a technology or regulated environment
We are looking for a colleague with strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, allowing you to work across technology, operations, and business teams to drive continuous improvement. Also, you have a proactive, structured, and solutions-focused mindset that enables you to translate complex requirements into clear controls, practical guidance, and workable business processes.
Finally, we imagine that you:
- Bring experience from a technology and logistics environment.
- Have a strong understanding of compliance, governance, risk, or control frameworks.
- Have experience designing, maintaining, or improving frameworks, standards, or structured compliance approaches.
