POSITION SUMMARY
The Forklift Driver, Trainer will organize and facilitate training activities at the site in support of DSV’s overall training strategy. Serves as an ongoing assistant with educational and training resource to ensure all facility employees receive training needed to effectively complete their jobs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide effective on-the-job training and coaching.

Observe and evaluate associates to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.

At the completion of training, submit a completed training plan, indicating date and areas trained (i.e. picking, packing).

Attend staff meetings and other meetings as required by leadership.

Provide refresher training at the request of leadership.

When not perform training, execute warehouse duties as assigned.

Ensures training sessions are properly prepared and executed with established materials, within established timelines.

Provide feedback and training progress to Supervisors and Managers based on individual trainee needs.

Document/track the training for associates.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED required.
Computer Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Certificates & Licenses: NA
Language Skills:

English (reading, writing, verbal)

Bilingual, Spanish preferred
Mathematical Skills

Good mathematical skills
Other Skills:

Previous experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.

Current or prior experience using WMS.

Current or prior experience using RF Scanner.

Working knowledge of field operations and/or training principles.

Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.

Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with various audiences and ability to effectively provide employees instruction on process and practice.

Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.

Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple processes, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.

Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.

Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $27.80. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
