Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily operations of a warehouse, ensuring that processes and procedures are followed to maintain efficient and effective operations. They will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, tracking inventory levels, ensuring accuracy of shipments, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring that they follow proper procedures and protocols.
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments, including verifying accuracy of orders and coordinating with the logistics coordinators.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper storage and handling of all products.
- Monitor the quality of products and ensure that they meet customer specifications.
- Implement and maintain safety policies and procedures, including regular safety inspections and training for all warehouse staff.
- Assist with managing the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Assist with maintaining records of all warehouse activities, such as inventory levels, shipments, and safety inspections.
- Communicate with other departments within the company to ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the flow of Outbound shipments through the warehouse from Picking to Audit to packing and shipping.
- Research and resolve NCRs resulting from outbound shipments.
- Maintain established KPIs and productivity metrics throughout the outbound shipping areas.
Educational background / Work experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- A bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics management role is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
- Certification in warehouse management or logistics, such as through the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) or the American Society of Transportation and Logistics (ASTL)
- Basic Knowledge of DG handling
- Previous or existing MHE certifications
Language skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with warehouse management software is required.
