Purpose:

Analyses cargo Flows/ cargo mix/ consolidation benefit/ GP out of the Area

· Gives Feedback to the Area Head of Air Freight on general carrier performance/ carrier

evaluation issues.

· Set up the capacity planning (allotments, BSA, consolidation share) based on the carrier

strategy, the Trade Lane master plans, Guidelines received from the trade Lanes or Area /

regional Head Procurement.

· Responsible that the capacity and procurement strategy in the Area is line with the Regional &

Trade lane strategy.

· Negotiate /signs capacity deals on Area Level- in line with the regional guidelines

· Responsible for correct ITP calculations in his Area and keep the resulting under / over

coverage within the defined maximum tolerance level.

· Responsible to monitor under/ over converges on ITP trade lanes and to comment the figures to

regional Product on quarterly basis.

Decision Making Authority

Authorities as delegated by the Regional Manager Air Freight/ National product manager, in

accordance with Corporate standards and guidelines and Competence Sharing Agreements.

Educational background / Work experience

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economics/Logistics or freight forwarding

apprenticeship

· Postgraduate / Management degree will be added advantage

· 5-10 years of overall industry experience (minimum)

Language Skills

· Fluent in English (other languages depending on the location)

Computer Literacy

· Microsoft® Office Software (Excel®, Word, PowerPoint® and others)

· SAP®

· Air tariff systems

· Excellent command on company’s IT system tools like CW1/ CRM /SAP etc.
