Job Posting Title: Freight Forwarder, Air Import (Pharma)

DSV is seeking an experienced Air Import Pharma Freight Forwarder to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating import delivery while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and applicable GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards.

This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage time-critical and temperature-sensitive shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete air import freight forwarding process, from pre-alert through final delivery.
• Coordinate import shipments with overseas DSV offices, customs brokers, trucking companies, warehouses, and customers.
• Handle pharmaceutical, healthcare, life science, and temperature-sensitive shipments in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Review import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and other required documentation.
• Monitor shipment milestones and proactively address delays, and operational issues.
• Coordinate temperature-controlled shipments and verify appropriate handling, storage, and transportation conditions according to GDP & SOP in place.

Pharma & GDP Responsibilities

The position will have a strong focus on pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics, including:
• Understanding and applying GDP principles to air import operations.
• Following temperature-control requirements and customer-specific handling instructions.
• Managing shipments requiring active and passive temperature-controlled solutions.
• Maintaining appropriate documentation and traceability throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in air freight forwarding, preferably in import operations.
• Previous experience handling pharmaceutical, healthcare, life science, or other temperature-sensitive cargo strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of international air freight processes and documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $25 - $30.50 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
