This position reports to Controlling Director in Finance Regional Shared Service Center in Poland (dotted line to Country FD), plays a leading role in driving our financial activities, business analyses and administrative support, underlying data and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial controlling and internal reporting for DSV Air &Sea and Road,
• Coordinate and prepare annual budget and monitor monthly variances,
• Prepare and publish monthly financial statements according to IFRS,
• Support month end and year-end close processes,
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting,
• Analyze costs, profitability and KPIs,
• Review, analyze and interpret financial results to be translated into business decisions,
• Assist Global Group Finance with external reporting including annual and interim financial reports,
• Prepare presentations for C level executives,
• Additional controlling duties as necessary,

General Qualifications:

• Proven working experience as Financial Controller,
• 10+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, preferable in logistics sector,
• Through knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. (IFRS, TFRS, local tax regulations)
• Experience will GL functions and the month-end, year- end close processes,
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills; SAP, Power BI; Hyperion is an asset
• Advanced MS Excel experience and comfortable with MS Power Point,
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and successfully manage projects to completion,
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving high growth environment, balancing multiple challenging priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
