Job Description
• Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team.
• Assign tasks, monitor workloads, and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, cash, invoicing, and reconciliation processes.
• Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review accounting entries and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Prepare and/or review financial reports and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards.
• Coordinate tax declarations, statutory filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support internal, external, and tax audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within ERP and accounting systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and automation.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to accounting team members.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, Sales, HR, and other departments.
• Report accounting and financial matters, risks, and key performance indicators to management. 

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of tax legislation and statutory accounting requirements.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and team management skills.
• SMMM qualification is an advantage, depending on the country/company structure.
• Good command of English, particularly in multinational organizations
