SUMMARY

This role is to support the Project supervisor in the management and coordination of the transport and logistics of moving general cargo and Over Dimensional Cargo for our clients.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Arranging the import and delivery of cargo into the USA
  • Daily communication with DSV, the client group and subcontractors
  • Maintenance of schedules according to latest updates from all stakeholders and the timely notification to relevant subcontractors and/or stakeholders.
  • Follow up on the timely production and distribution of compliant documentation for the purposes of importation, proof of delivery or return logistics.
  • Opening files and administrating them according to SOPs and other work instructions
  • Receive subcontractor invoices, reviewing and approving the same
  • Invoicing the client according to agreed rates and procedures

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 years minimum experience in Ocean Imports, containerized and non-containerized cargo
  • Familiar with working in Freight systems, preferably CW1
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and intercultural skills.
  • Skills to generate reports, presentations and other documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • The capacity to work in a highly flexible and agile
