The succesful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end liquidation and dissolution of legal entities across multiple jurisdictions. This includes coordinating with internal stakeholders, external advisors, regulatory authorities, finance teams, and legal teams to ensure timely and compliant closure of entities in accordance with local laws and company policies. The role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple legal entity closure projects simultaneously.
Reporting Line:
Report to: Team Lead, Liquidation, MEA
Location: Dubai, UAE
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end liquidation, dissolution, and deregistration of legal entities across assigned jurisdictions.
- Prepare and maintain liquidation trackers, project plans, and status reports.
- Coordinate all activities required for entity closure, including obtaining approvals, settling liabilities, and completing statutory requirements.
- Ensure all liquidation milestones are completed within agreed timelines.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal departments including Finance, Tax, Treasury, HR, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
- Coordinate with external service providers, corporate secretaries, legal advisers, auditors, and government authorities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned liquidation projects.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure entity closures comply with local regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation for liquidation files.
- Support internal and external audits related to legal entity closures.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and identify risks that may impact liquidation timelines.
Financial Closure Activities
- Coordinate balance sheet clearances and account closures.
- Support settlement of intercompany balances and outstanding obligations.
- Work closely with Finance and Tax teams to ensure completion of financial and tax-related requirements before liquidation.
- Track and monitor liquidation costs against budgets.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Provide regular status updates and KPI reporting to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve liquidation and legal entity management processes.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation.

Qualifications & Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Corporate Governance, or a related field.
- Experience in legal entity management, corporate governance, finance, accounting, or liquidation projects.
- Experience managing multi-country legal entity closures is preferred.
- Experience working with SAP ERP systems is preferred.
- Experience working within a multinational organization is an advantage.
