The Operations – Ocean Export person should handle end-to-end export operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sea freight exports, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage shipments efficiently while ensuring compliance with customer and carrier requirements.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end sea export operations from booking to final documentation
• Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents, and internal teams
• Prepare and verify export documentation (SI, BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.)
• Arrange booking with carriers and follow up on vessel schedules
• Monitor cargo movement and ensure timely gate-in and shipment
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and customer requirements
• Handle DG cargo (if applicable) and coordinate approvals with carriers
• Provide shipment updates and respond to customer queries
• Resolve shipment issues, rollovers, or delays in coordination with carriers
• Maintain accurate records and update systems regularly

KPI Driven Responsibilities:

• Ensure high standards of data accuracy and integrity across all operational systems
• Deliver timely and compliant invoicing in line with established KPI targets
• Maintain and update shipment milestones in accordance with global KPI requirements
• Manage profit‑share processes to support accurate financial performance tracking

Communication:

Internal - Sea Freight Management, Commercial and Key Account Teams, DSV network offices, Operations and Customs team, warehouse teams and finance teams

External –Clients & DSV vendors

Qualifications & Characteristics:

• 3+ years of experience in sea export operations with a freight forwarder or logistics company
• Batchelor’s degree
• Good knowledge of export documentation and shipping procedures
• Familiarity with shipping lines, Incoterms, and trade compliance
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to handle multiple shipments and work under deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics systems
• DG cargo handling experience is an added advantage
