Job Posting Title: IT Supporter, Application Support Analyst, Healthcare

Main Purpose Of The Role:

This position is responsible for the general Application support of Healthcare systems. The main duties of the job are as follows:

  • Maintain scalable and robust applications
  • Identify and implement workarounds for customer incidents
  • Implement bug fixes and patches to both new and legacy parts of the platform
  • Proactively enable 2nd line to resolve incidents without undue escalation
  • Be involved in an out of hours on call application support
  • Proactively improve monitoring, alerting and end to end tests
  • Handle escalated calls from 1st / 2nd line service desk analysts
  • Take an active role in the management and refinement of a backlog of bugs and tactical platform fixes
  • Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile (SCRUM/Kanban) project teams ensuring high quality delivery
  • Proactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing
  • Maintain, manage and update technical system documentation.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Resolve user and client issues within SLA.
  • Assist with daily balancing between SAP and DeltaII.
  • Perform daily integration checks.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing
  • Offer telephonic and onsite support
  • Perform root cause analysis
  • Coordinate the incident management process
  • Manage communication with stakeholders


Job-related Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information technology application support discipline

Exposure to the Healthcare pharmaceutical logistics environment

In house or formal training on managing all aspects of production environments

Business & financial acumen (dealing with complexity, problem solving, using sound judgment).

Conviction (adapting to change, being flexible, finding work improvements, resolving conflicts).

Customer passion to deliver excellent customer service

Proficient in written and oral communication in English


Additional Computer Skills:

Proficient in MS Word, excel

SQL Query management and or UNIX
