Job Description: Process Engineer – Business Change Management (BCM), APAC
Role Context
The Process Engineer is part of the Business Change Management (BCM) team within the Contract Logistics COO organization, supporting APAC operations. The BCM team is responsible for driving operational excellence, process standardization, and supporting business growth through effective solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership, Governance & Reporting
• Capture and translate business and customer requirements into functional specifications, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Develop detailed process flows, product movement diagrams, and layout designs tailored to project and/or continuous improvement (CIP) needs.
• Validate assumptions and benefits upon execution, re-aligning with stakeholders as necessary.
• Drive the CL Project Approach, DSV Quality Planning (DQP) methodology, and enterprise baseline across all regions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across BCM functions, operations, commercial, and IT to ensure cohesive project execution.
• Support case study creation and engage in cross-functional initiatives to align process engineering with broader business goals.
• Contribute to the development of standardized data flow models in collaboration with Solution Design.
• Assist in building a library of best practices and standardized templates for operational metrics, capacity planning, and resource utilization.
Solution Delivery and Performance Benchmarking
• Oversee end-to-end solution design, including equipment, automation, and utility requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define and validate key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Work with BCM CIP and operations to benchmark productivity improvements and validate before/after performance metrics.
• Ensure visual management in warehouses, translating between warehouse designs and physical execution.
• Assist with implementation support for operational teams.
• Ensure operational performance improvement and provide crisis management support.
Engineering and Analytical Support
• Conduct engineering studies and capacity calculations to validate solution feasibility.
• Analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies using tools like simulation modelling, statistical analysis, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Evaluate and implement automation technologies such as AGVs, robotic systems, and automated material handling equipment.
• Support automation and digital transformation initiatives to improve throughput and reduce manual errors.
• Enhance visibility, reduce lead times, and improve service levels through process redesign.
Test Management
• Manage and assist in developing end-to-end testing frameworks, including FAT, production trial runs, and stress testing, in collaboration with Application & Integration, vendors, and operations.
• Validate that IT solutions align with designed processes and operational goals.

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience in process or logistic engineering, preferably within contract logistics or supply chain environments.
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in simulation modeling, statistical analysis, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with automation technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional process designs and SOPs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with project management and performance benchmarking is a plus.
