Main Purpose of The Role:
The main purpose of this role is to target specific High tech/value goods and/or financial industry business that fits the company ideal client and product profiles as well as to maintain/grow existing customer base. Strategic accounts need to be won, implemented and maintained for a 12-month period before handover to the retention team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Min 5 years Senior Key Account Management & New Business sales experience
- Experience in prospecting for strategic new business within High tech/value goods and/or financial industry
- Track record in achieving new business sales targets within High tech/value goods and/or financial industry
- Tender Management. Including but not limited to sourcing of information, pricing and ensuring professional output and meeting deadlines.
- Experience in selling High tech/value goods and/or financial industry distribution and presenting to C Level
- Maintain and grow existing customer base
- Experience with implementation of strategic accounts
- Reporting day to day to the General ManagerWeekly and Monthly reporting (where needed / requested)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prospect for new business and develop a qualified pipeline of leads and convert to actual billing sustainable clients. Maintain and grow the existing client base and meet monthly and annual retention targets that have been set. Manage client relationships, both existing and new where applicable. Monthly billing and financial reporting shared with the various stakeholders. General administrative duties – daily. Represent the DSV brand. Analysis of sales-related information and report weekly to General Manager. Maintaining client data and updating regularly. Continuous reporting on competitor and industry analysis. Manage tender/proposal production and delivery. (Preparation and presentation) Create sustainable value for customers by adopting an innovative approach to their business. Ensure that the required monthly and accumulative targets are met. Implementation and communication of signed business is shared with all stakeholders. Management of debtor’s days of clients within the company’s requirements. Ensure regular Inter department communication. Identifying cross silo solutions and work with other Department heads to ensure successful partnerships Ensure all client files are updated and maintained as per the company procedures and Quality Management System. Carry out any other duties as may be requested by Management. Update and maintain the internal CRM System. Meet the expected client call ratio KPI as indicated by your Manager. Meeting to be held at client’s premises when applicable |
