Main Purpose of The Role:

The Primary function of the Billing Specialist is to produce accurate, complete and on time billing. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Essential)  
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in revenue/accounting
• Process orientated with good attention to detail
• Must be able to work well under pressure and deliver on deadlines
• Must have a valid and unendorsed driver’s license
• Must possess good time management skills
• Ability to work long hours of overtime when necessary
• Self-Starter who will use own initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical skills.

Computer packages:

• Medium to Advanced Excel knowledge - essential
• MS Office Knowledge – essential

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare Client Billing and ensure billed as per agreed client agreements.
• Assist with Client Billing queries.
• Assist with Client Stationery Orders and maintaining client compulsory stops schedule.
• Assist Manager with preparation of revenue forecast/ actual reporting files.
• Revenue Protection- Elimination of revenue leakage.
• Drive net working capital improvements with the business by ensuring timeous billing.
• Validation of customer rates on a regular basis.
• Support auditors in revenue related requests.
• Ad hoc duties as and when required.
