***Currently seeking Warehouse Operators for the following shifts:  (1) 10:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday AND (2) 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm Monday through Friday  PLEASE include simple statement in cover letter as to which shift you are interested in*** 

 

 We are searching for experienced and qualified applicants to fill many new positions across various shifts and responsibilities:

 

  • "Pick and Packers" for order fulfulliment, labeling and staging cargo, knowledge of pick & pack operation 

 

  • Must have knowledge of Ocean Warehousing

 

  • General Warehouse Agents to drive a forklift and perform general warehouse labor

 

  • Warehouse Receiving agents who are tech-savvy (to handle scanning freight and weighing cargo)

 

  • Must have WMS knowledge

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education and/or Experience

  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in customer service and logistics (will consider an equivalent combination of education and/or experience).

 

 SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

 

Computer Skills

  • Prior use of basic MS Office applications.

 

Language Skills

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

 

Mathematical Skills

  • Basic level required with the ability to verify inventory, order accuracy, and other quality driven initiatives.

 

Other Skills

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communication orally and in writing
  • High level of customer service skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Computer Skills

  • Some experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)

 

Recommended Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations a Plus

  • Material Handling Certification
  • Dangerous Goods Qualification
  • Forklift Operation and Certification

 

Other Skills

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.

                                                                         

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to operate material handling equipment.
  • Must be able to stand for several hours per day to perform required job duties as required by the nature of the business that is supported.

 

 WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment with exposure to changing warehouse temperatures.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
