EMEA Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for supporting all procurement requirements and being able to work as a team member as well as foster a cooperative work environment. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for effectively managing performance and supervision of purchasing department -expeditors and/or buyers.  will ensure all procurement requirements are met.  will run an escalation point as well as liaison between the planning teams and all internal and external stakeholders. The Purchasing Manager will act as a catalyst for process improvements and will work with internal IMS groups to monitor and deliver on goals, objectives and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 years of management experience (At least 10 employees).
  • At least 2 years of purchasing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and industry work experience.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

  • Management experience with large teams.
  • Broad and thorough knowledge of Purchasing Inventory Control methods, principles, and practices.
  • Strong customer service, vendor relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and able to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Very good sourcing negotiation skills.
  • Multi-tasking-Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects.
  • Fast learning

Computer Skills

  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Suite with demonstrated proficiency in Excel (Able to work with pivot tables, use lookup formulas, etc.).
  • ERP System Experience.

Language Skills:

High level of:

English (verbal, reading, writing).

Hebrew (verbal, reading, writing).
