SUMMARY

The Site Lead is responsible for leading the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) site team and ensuring strong operational performance, customer satisfaction, achievement of agreed KPIs and service commitments, and continued development of the VMI service. The role combines hands-on people leadership, operational ownership, customer management and business development, while maintaining strong collaboration with global teams and parallel sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, coach and develop the site team to achieve strong individual and team performance.
  • Set clear priorities, expectations and accountability, and actively manage performance gaps.
  • Manage workload, coverage, backup and team capabilities to ensure operational continuity.
  • Own site KPIs and SLAs, monitor performance and drive corrective actions where required.
  • Build a strong, engaged, accountable and customer-focused team culture.

Customer Management & VMI Business Development

  • Own the day-to-day customer relationship and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Lead customer meetings and performance reviews with full visibility of key operational topics, risks, open actions and customer concerns across the team.
  • Proactively manage customer issues, risks and escalations and drive them through resolution.
  • Understand evolving customer needs and identify opportunities to expand and develop the VMI service.
  • Partner with the Senior Operational Key Account Manager on customer growth opportunities and strategic initiatives.

Operational Ownership & Critical Topics

  • Ensure consistent delivery of the VMI scope of work and adherence to operational processes and standards.
  • Maintain clear oversight of critical and high-priority topics across the entire team, including key risks, customer concerns, open issues and commitments.
  • Establish structured team reporting and follow-up to ensure continuous management visibility of significant operational developments.
  • Track critical actions and commitments through resolution, ensuring clear ownership, deadlines and timely escalation where required.
  • Use operational data and KPIs to identify risks, performance gaps and improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
  • Maintain strong hands-on knowledge of key VMI operational processes and systems, and be able to perform or support core team activities when required to ensure business continuity, resolve critical issues or provide operational coverage.
  • Work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Sourcing, Logistics, Quality, Data Integrity and other functions to improve end-to-end performance.

Global Collaboration

  • Maintain strong working relationships with global stakeholders and Site Leads in other locations.
  • Actively share and adopt global best practices, processes and lessons learned.
  • Connect the local team to the wider global organization and encourage direct collaboration across sites.
  • Represent the Israel site in relevant global operational forums and initiatives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct management of Inventory Planners / Inventory Lifecycle Specialists.
  • Responsible for employee onboarding, coaching, development, performance management and performance evaluations.
  • Responsible for workload management, prioritization, backup coverage and team capability.
  • Support recruitment and selection of new team members in collaboration with Management and HR.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Customer Service or Operations.
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team.
  • Experience in a customer-facing operational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of VMI / Inventory Planning processes and systems, with the ability to understand and support the team’s day-to-day operational activities.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience managing operational KPIs.
  • Fluent Hebrew and high-level English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in VMI / Inventory Planning operations.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience working in a global organization and with international teams.
  • Knowledge of Purchasing and broader Supply Chain processes.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

  • Travel may be required as needed.
