This new position, based in either Hong Kong or Singapore, will assist the General Manager to ensure long-term RFQs competitively priced,  above-market level growth, thus helping to maximize the profit margin for DSV.

Responsibilities:

• Control the intra APAC multi-country RFQs from FCL product/pricing perspective. 
• Ensure timely and correct response to RFQs.
• Provide market knowledge and value added information which can be presented along RFQ replies. 
• Close communication with tender management team as well as commercial team.
• Optimize and ensure procurement process efficiency.
• Prepare the minimum selling rate guidelines (e.g. MSRs) to Country Product as basis for MSR definition.
• Align with COPT team on APAC core carrier selection.
• Support the cargo steering.
• Perform Pricing analysis to ensure all RFQs are profitably quoted.
• Monitor APAC core carrier utilization on country level.
• Represent DSV APAC in carrier and customer meetings.
• Carrier management relationship building and maintenance.
• Adherence to the code of conduct policy of DSV Group.

Requirements:

• Degree in logistics or related disciplines.
• With at least 5 years of work experience in intra-Asia sea freight procurement management and operational experience will be an advantage.
• Experience in tariff management and tender management.
• Knowledge of IMO rules and regulations.
• Excellent business acumen with strong market & industry knowledge.
• Ability to forecast and budget for growth on trade lane.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-minded and able to work under pressure. 
• Proficient in English.
