Summary
As a Driver Recruiter at DSV Road Transport Inc. you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and processing hires for qualified candidates to meet the high demand for drivers within DSV. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, and proven track record in high-volume recruiting. 


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, industry associations, and referrals, to source and attract qualified candidates for driver positions.
  • Review resumes, applications, and driver qualification files to evaluate candidates' qualifications and suitability for available positions. 
  • Conduct phone screenings to assess candidates' experience, skills, and availability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the recruitment process, including background checks, drug screenings, and driver qualification file documentation.
  • Extend contingent job offers to qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including completing necessary paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and providing support to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and driver referral sources to enhance the recruitment pipeline and attract a steady flow of qualified candidates.
  • Cold-call and e-mail blast candidates from various lead sources
  • Create and manage job postings to attract top talent.  
  • Compile driver qualification files by running employment verifications, motor vehicle reports, DOT Pre-employment Screens, DAC, and background reports. 


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of High-volume recruiting experience, preferably in the transportation/Trucking industry. 
  • Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations is a plus.


Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Computer Literacy

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others) 
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and/or an HRIS; SAP SuccessFactors preferred 


Language Skills 

  • English (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Spanish is a plus

  • Team player with ability to work amongst diverse, cross-functional teams and all levels of management. 
  • Capability to work under time and quota pressures. 
  • Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3 years’ years of High-volume recruiting experience, preferably in the transportation/trucking industry

Able to travel as needed up to 5%.

 

For this position, the expected base pay is: $20.50 - $27.50 / Hourly.    Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
