Summary

The Executive Assistant, Executive Reporting & Communications provides high-level support to senior leadership with a strong emphasis on executive storytelling, reporting, and presentation development. This role is responsible for transforming complex business data into clear, visually compelling materials for leadership consumption, including board decks, business reviews, and strategic updates.

 

This position is ideal for candidates with a background in marketing, communications, or business analytics who excel at crafting narratives, designing impactful presentations, and translating data into actionable insights. While the role includes select administrative responsibilities, the primary focus is on business partnership, content creation, and executive deliverables

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and design executive-level presentations, including board decks, quarterly business reviews, and strategic initiatives.
  • Translate complex data, operational updates, and financial metrics into clear, compelling narratives for executive audiences.
  • Apply storytelling principles to create cohesive, engaging, and visually polished presentations.
  • Partner with executives and cross-functional teams to gather inputs and align messaging across stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and executive summaries on key performance indicators.
  • Analyze data trends and highlight key insights, risks, and opportunities for leadership review.
  • Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and formatting across all executive materials.
  • Support preparation for leadership meetings by developing talking points, summaries, and briefing materials.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables for recurring reporting cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  • Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes, templates, and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate key meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and distribution of materials.
  • Maintain and organize documentation, reports, and executive files for easy access and version control.
  • Assist with calendar management for priority meetings and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support follow-ups on action items from leadership meetings to ensure accountability and timely completion.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive business and organizational information.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in marketing, communications, executive support, business analytics, or a similar role.
  • Proven experience creating executive-level presentations and reports required.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or working in a fast-paced, corporate environment preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills with a strong eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and trend identification.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into concise, executive-ready formats.
  • Strong written communication skills with experience drafting executive messaging.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to balance strategic deliverables with administrative coordination tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Business acumen with an understanding of operational and financial performance metrics.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

 

Physical Demands

Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment with a moderate noise level. For this position, the expected base pay range is $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
