Job Posting Title: Financial and Data Analyst, Contract Logistics North America

The Financial and Data Analyst provides support to the local management team that may include, but is not limited to financial reporting and control, income management, debt management, submitting invoices for payment for Accounts Payable and accurately billing clients for services rendered.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with advanced data analysis skills and a deep understanding of logistics and distribution environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Play a significant role in the accurate and timely preparation of internal financial reporting and analysis. Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses
- Assist operations regarding cost budgets, quarterly forecasts and other financial planning activities
- Perform analytical reviews of financial information to identify trends/opportunities. Recommend improvements to drive cost efficiencies in balance with operational needs and capabilities
- Produce cost quotes, strategic business cases, risk assessment and other ad-hoc analysis in support of the business
- Participate in special projects as required, including process improvement and financial tools development and implementation
- Management of financial process improvements, Key Performance Indicators and tracking of strategic initiatives
- Support of various internal and external financial and system audits
- Plan, organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company's monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
- Collect and confirm accuracy of all charges and expenses for a file to be billed
- Complete the monthly Client Profitability Model
- Attend meetings as required, documentation & distribution of meeting minutes, etc.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional, mature, discreet and secure manner
- Create and disseminate various communications & reports
- Creates or Assists with the design and development of presentations
- Effectively communicate with employees, customers, suppliers & others on behalf of site management
- Work with Operations team to develop Budgets and Forecast for Financial performance
- Developing financial strategies: Analyze revenue, expenses, investments, and risks to create a financial strategy
- Prepare reports: Create reports to explain financial recommendations to senior management
- Set goals: Help set financial goals and create a roadmap to achieve them
- Identify opportunities: Identify when and how operations can optimize their assets and investments
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, data analysis, or logistics analytics
- Experience in contract logistics, supply chain, or 3PL environment preferred
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, modeling, macros preferred)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Working knowledge of SQL or other data querying tools
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems

- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
For this position, the expected base pay range is $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 . Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
