Summary
The P&O Specialist, Talent Acquisition is responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment for both blue-collar and white-collar roles in a high-volume environment. This role partners closely with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, P&O Business Partners, and operational leaders to deliver timely, compliant, and effective hiring solutions. The position is accountable for sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates while ensuring a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
- Support requisition creation and posting within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other recruiting channels to build strong talent pipelines.
- Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure an efficient and seamless hiring process.
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate records within the ATS and support reporting and tracking efforts.
- Support high-volume and specialized hiring initiatives across multiple locations and business units.
- Collaborate with P&O (HR) Business Partners, operations leaders, and internal stakeholders to align recruiting priorities with workforce needs.
- Partner with leadership to develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill or critical roles.
- Provide recruiting-related guidance and support to HR and business teams, assisting with process questions and issue resolution.
- Participate in intake meetings, hiring discussions, and candidate debriefs with stakeholders.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and transparency throughout the hiring process.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure compliant recruiting practices.
- Uphold company recruitment standards, policies, and data privacy requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, reduce time-to-fill, and enhance overall hiring effectiveness.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen recruiting and HR expertise.
- Perform additional duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in recruiting, HR, or a related role required (internship experience may be considered).
- Experience in high-volume recruiting and/or logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments preferred.

Physical Demands
This position is primarily sedentary and performed in an office environment. The role requires frequent use of a computer, including typing, data entry, and reviewing candidate information for extended periods. Work Environment
This role operates in a professional, fast-paced office environment with standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Participation in job fairs and hiring events may require occasional travel and extended periods of standing.
For this position, the expected base pay range is $25.00 – $33.00 Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
