Human Resources Analyst

SUMMARY

As a Human Resources Analyst with DSV Solutions, you will support data-driven HR management through analysis and reporting on human capital data assets and trends.  You will support the Director of HR by providing data and dashboards via analytic tools and HRIS reporting.  You will utilize employee surveys and organizational assessments to support data-driven HR strategies and workforce planning objectives.  You will work in close partnership with our HR Director and other regional leaders to support HR initiatives across our business unit. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Interpret, monitor and analyze all HR data and metrics (new hires, budget, headcount, termination, turnover, promotion, year-end comp, talent, performance management, etc.) to create various reports/queries to analyze metrics

Create and manage wellness marketing initiatives

Support the sourcing, development, and facilitation of the service award program

Support employee engagement and survey initiatives and analysis

Process HR transactions and up-load data in a timely manner to ensure data accuracy

Work with other team members to assess and evaluate requests and needs from the various business functions

Support the HR Director and the Regional HR Managers in understanding organizational changes and impacts to the business unit

Identify and develop internal process improvements and system enhancements

Support finance and AP activities for Solutions HR as instructed by the HR Director, including expense reporting and tracking

Support employment branding and marketing initiatives

Create detailed Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations from compiled information

Perform other duties as assigned

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

N/A

 

Education and/or Experience

Four-year degree is preferred (Human Resources emphasis preferred)

3-5 years of job related/relevant experience

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

PHR, SPHR a plus but not required 

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Computer Skills

Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Advanced Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, and PowerPoint.)

 

Language Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in a confident, organized and articulate manner

Strong leadership, teamwork, and relationship building skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to touch objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.  The employee will use computers and smart phones to communicate. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision related to computers.  Must be able to work flexible hours and/or travel, often on short notice, possibly up to 5% to 10% travel. Travel mode is typically by airplane and/or automobile.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to work remotely and/or in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to consumer products, noise within warehouses that could cause minor harm. However, local safety measures will prevent any harm.
