The Sales Operation Specialist role will support the Business Development team in providing industry leading RFI and RFP response documents, providing marketing support and administrative support of the sales organizations CRM and Team systems.

The Sales Operations Specialist will be accountable to

  • Writing and preparing content of customer facing materials such as replies to RFI & RFQ documents, as well as company introductions documents
  • Continue to develop the response material library in support of RFI & RFQ responses
  • Provide market support to support brand awareness campaigns and specific vertical or regional development initiatives
  • Initiate and develop content that can be used for marketing initiatives

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Content creation - execute on multiple tasks and activities through the RFQ process, document and measure process and results of client responses throughout the response lifecycle
  • Develop, execute and manage client facing marketing material in support of the Business Development team
  • Lead the coordination of marketing initiatives developed by the Global Marketing Team, and local marketing efforts including developing and providing case studies and presentation material in support of the sales process, developing lead generation campaigns
  • Support DSV Client Success Factor program
  • Act as the national administrator of DSV’s CMR Tool, Dynamics
  • Maintain document control procedures and Global Tender Management Policy
  • Maintaining content / marketing information on social outlets and blogs.
  • Create and distribute the monthly newsletter

 

 

Team Support

  • Coordinating efforts between our US & Canadian teams to ensure transparency between the countries
  • Generate relevant marketing materials (white papers, one-pagers, PPT decks, videos, newsletters, brochures, etc.)

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • A degree in business, marketing, or related area of study
  • Five years of inside sales support, tender management, or sales operations experience
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

 

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

 

Computer Skills:

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, BI and CRM Tools
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal)

 

Mathematical Skills

  • Basic Math

 

Other

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Strong Project Management skill set
  • Willingness to learn and work closely with others to understand the system
  • Ability to work flexible hours in order to meet project & operational deadlines and to work to tight timelines as required for “deadlines”. Ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrates a high level of verbal and written communicative skills as well as the ability to work under pressure analytically and systematically.
