Role: In‑fab Warehouse Operative
Location: Leixlip
Hours: 07:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00, with 1×30‑minute unpaid break and 1×30‑minute paid break.
Shift pattern: Sunday–Tuesday and every second Wednesday OR Thursday–Saturday and every second Wednesday.
We are looking for an In‑fab Warehouse Operative to support a key customer on-site in a cleanroom environment. This hands‑on role is essential to ensuring smooth material flow, accurate inventory management, and timely support for engineering teams. You will be responsible for receiving, tracking, handling, and shipping materials while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping.
What will you be doing?
- Carry out all logistical activities within the customer fab, including material tracking, receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
- Receive materials from offsite warehousing, update material trackers, and ensure full accountability of all items.
- Control dock activities and support material handling, including scheduling transportation where required.
- Resolve delivery discrepancies quickly to prevent downtime.
- Process returns from the customer site to the offsite warehouse, ensuring correct packing, labelling, documentation, and handover.
- Maintain dock, elevator, vestibule, and laydown areas to required housekeeping standards.
- Ensure correct and timely handover of materials to engineers, including proof of delivery and proof of receipt.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures, PPE requirements, and participate in safety programs and audits.
- Adhere to all SOPs, work instructions, and quality procedures, ensuring business and customer requirements are met.
- Maintain product and process integrity, report inventory errors, and support cycle counting.
- Safely move valuable and sensitive equipment within warehouse environments.
About You
- Experience in logistics or operations (fab/cleanroom experience beneficial).
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment: PPE, gowning/de‑gowning, enclosed spaces, warm/bright/noisy conditions.
- Able to handle heavy materials (e.g., lifting 35‑lb boxes).
- Experience using pallet jacks, carts, and similar equipment.
- Strong English communication skills (spoken, written, and reading).
- Reliable, professional, well‑presented, with excellent time management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict processes and SOPs.
- Good Computer skills (Outlook & Excel required; SAP desirable).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability across AM/PM shifts and able to travel to other sites if required.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
