About the Role:

As an IT Test Manager in our Digital Product & Platform Development team, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of scalable, high-quality platforms that support DSV’s digitalization strategy. You will work with international scrum teams to deliver business critical solutions in close collaboration with product owners, architects, developers, in a mature and agile environment, embracing DevSecOps mindset.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the testing strategy, overseeing test planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring that solutions meet technical and business requirements. You will ensure that the products we deliver are robust, scalable, and ready for global implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, implement and execute test cases and plans for enterprise-level products and solutions
• Ensure alignment of testing processes with business requirements and technical specifications
• Ensure proper testing quality of backend and frontend applications
• Monitor and report on testing progress, identifying risks and issues early in the development process
• Detect technical defects and functional issues and assist developers in delivering resolution
• Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, and development teams to ensure the solution meets the highest quality standards
• Contribute to implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks and drive strategic decisions for testing
• Work on integrating test automation as integral part of CI/CD
• Conduct thorough reviews of testing documentation and deliverables, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Communicate complex technical issues to various stakeholders and leadership teams

The ideal candidate should have: 

• Relevant degree in IT, engineering, or a related field is a plus
• ISTQB certificate is a plus
• Proven experience as an IT Test Manager or in a similar testing/quality assurance role
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing
• Solid understanding of application and cloud/microservices architecture
• Ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of modern automation tooling (JMeter, K6, Gatling)
• Knowledge of CI tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Mongo DB
• Basic knowledge of Kafka
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, Java)
• Logical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in written and spoken English
• Openness, team player, and striving to learn is a must
• Experience in the logistics or transport industry is a plus but not a necessity
