The impact you’ll have

You’ll design and deliver robust, accessible, and performant UIs for mission-critical workflows, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Developers to ship features that scale. You’ll elevate frontend engineering practices and help teams adopt modern patterns for reliability, performance, and speed.

What you’ll do

• Design & Development
• Build and maintain UI components and data‑driven interfaces in React + TypeScript, integrating REST APIs (and Kafka‑backed services via our backend contracts).
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side APIs and services. 
• Implement responsive, WCAG‑aware frontends using semantic HTML/CSS with a modern UI framework (e.g., Material UI).
• Contribute to architectural patterns (request/response services, event‑driven flows, file transport jobs) with clear technical documentation.
• performance optimization and web vitals
• Quality & Security
• Write unit/integration/E2E tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance; ensure observability hooks are in place.
• Follow secure coding principles; implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
• Collaboration & Best Practices
• Partner with Product Owners, Designers (Figma), Tech Leads, and QA to refine requirements and shift-left on testability and UX.
• Share knowledge across teams; contribute to design systems and developer communities.
• Participate in code reviews and support L3 incident investigations (~10%).

Your toolkit

• Languages/Frameworks: React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS.
• UI: Material UI; design systems and component libraries.  Figma.
• Build & Dev: Vite/Webpack; NPM/Yarn; Git.
• State/Data: Redux Toolkit + RTK Query (preferred), React Query (nice‑to‑have).
• Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright.
• CI/CD & Ops: Jenkins/Azure DevOps; containers/Docker; basic observability hooks.

What you bring

• 6–8+ years building production frontends with React/TypeScript, delivering high-quality, performant code in enterprise or high-traffic environments.
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Practical WCAG accessibility know-how (semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus management).
• Hands-on experience with state management, testing strategies, and CI/CD integration.
• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills; clear, business-aware communication.
• Nice-to-have: monorepos/micro-frontends, Storybook, Next.js, cloud (Azure/AWS).
