ROLES & RESPONSABILITIES: 

• Collaborate with the Delivery and product function, other relevant DSV departments to support the delivery of business requirements with the standard DSV warehouse systems solutions and identify solutions for potential gaps
• Conduct IT Solution Reviews with IT Delivery team to maximize coding standardization and reusing existing solutions
• Continuous improvement of the standard warehouse solutions for faster implementation within the regional sites and support the creation of further regional and global standard solutions in the logistics space together with the other regional and global teams
• Maintain and develop the WMS and surrounding applications with high focus on standardization and code reusability, clear and understandable documentation
• Research new opportunities for increasing productivity and growing profit within the function of WMS system. Collaborate with DSV ITO teams and solutions IT team in delivering those functionalities
• Implementing automated testing and deployments for WMS solution

REQUIREMENTS: 

• At least 7+ years professional experience in a transportation, logistics or supply chain management related role, preferably within the 3PL industry
• Experience in the supply chain domain and project implementation
• Experience with Warehouse management solution (Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS)
• Able to understand, formulate and challenge functional specifications
• Programming background with skills like Java and/or C# 
• Good knowledge of and experience with relational databases and SQL and PL/SQL
• Knowledge of infrastructure landscapes, operating systems (windows/linux) and scripting
• Demonstrate thoroughness in system design and system testing with a minimum supervision

NICE TO HAVE:

• Able to set up and maintain pipeline scripts, such as Jenkins/groovy
• Experience with cloud-native common platform tools
• Proven ability to integrate WMS with external application using APIs 
• General knowledge of working with different 3rd party SW providers
