As the Service Owner for our payroll solution, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the entire lifecycle of our payroll service offering. You will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing optimization of our payroll solution, ensuring it remains best-in-class and exceeds the expectations of our HR colleagues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the payroll solution, aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Lead the end-to-end service delivery process, including technical requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate closely with HR colleagues to understand their payroll needs, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of payroll initiatives. 
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor the performance and effectiveness of the payroll solution, and implement measures to drive improvement as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to payroll processing, and ensure the solution remains compliant at all times.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners involved in delivering the payroll solution, ensuring contractual obligations are met and service levels are maintained.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing payroll solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Project management experience with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
