DSV is expanding its IT capabilities as the world’s largest transport and logistics company following our acquisition of DB Schenker. We seek a skilled Technical Project Manager within Group & Enterprise Applications, Global IT department.
About the Role
As a Technical Project Manager in our Compliance Technology team, you will join a dynamic and talented team of Technical Project Managers and Business Analysts, working in a collaborative and inclusive environment. In this role, you will drive high-impact IT initiatives that support core business functions and take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex application projects; ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external partners, to ensure that projects are well-planned, efficiently executed, and deliver real value to the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Execution: Lead end-to-end IT projects, from planning and budgeting through implementation and seamless handover, ensuring integration into business operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Service and Application Owners, vendors, and stakeholders across our global organisation.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks, blockers, and opportunities, and implement scalable solutions to keep projects on track.
- Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Respond to shifting priorities with flexibility, quickly learning new tools, technologies, and processes to meet evolving business needs.
- Foster Team Culture & Inclusion: Contribute to a positive team culture by promoting open communication, mutual support, and a strong sense of belonging for all team members.
What We Expect from You
- Project Leadership: A proven ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Quick to identify challenges and implement scalable solutions, even in high-pressure situations.
- Project Management Knowledge: Familiarity with frameworks such as Prince2, Scrum, and ITIL certification is a plus.
- Independence & Proactivity: Ability to work autonomously, take initiative in resolving issues, and keep projects on track without constant supervision.
- Collaboration & Support-Seeking: Capable of knowing when to ask for help and actively engaging with peers, vendors, and stakeholders to drive success.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required
