Why join us

Join DSV’s Global IT, building next-generation Enterprise Products across Supply Chain, Data, and Platform capabilities. We work in cross‑functional platform & product teams with a flat hierarchy and collaborative culture. Principles: We learn fast, design for scale, build pragmatically, and treat quality as a team sport.

The impact you’ll have

You will define and evolve the platform-wide testing vision and architecture, embedding quality early and ensuring pipelines deliver reliable, actionable signals. Expect measurable improvements in release confidence, defect escape rate, and delivery speed.

What you’ll do

  • Platform-wide test architecture & automation strategy
    • Own and evolve the platform-wide test architecture to ensure scalability, maintainability, and seamless CI/CD integration.
    • Define and communicate the testing vision and roadmap, including overall automation strategy and architecture.
    • Select and govern automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright + TypeScript, Rest Assured), promoting reusable components and patterns across teams.
    • Establish platform-wide standards and guidelines for test policies, templates, test data management, environment configuration, and observability metrics (e.g., flakiness, coverage, duration).
    • Ensure alignment with platform architecture, security, and compliance requirements in all testing practices.
    • Oversee cross-team testing strategies for end-to-end, integration, and performance testing.
    • Balance manual and automated approaches, ensuring manual efforts contribute to future automation.
    • Support release governance by defining quality gates, readiness criteria, and sign-off processes in partnership with Release and DevOps teams.

  • Shift-left & enablement
    • Champion shift-left principles, embedding testing early in the development lifecycle.
    • Act as a technical advisor on automation design, contract testing, and quality engineering.
    • Facilitate knowledge sharing and training on testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Strategic governance
    • Define platform‑wide policies, templates, and guidelines; balance manual vs. automated approaches (manual fuels future automation).
    • Oversee cross‑team strategies for end‑to‑end, integration, and performance testing.
    • Support release governance: quality gates, readiness criteria, and test sign‑off in partnership with Release/DevOps.

  • Collaboration & continuous improvement
    • Partner with Platform Owners, Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and the Test CoE to harmonize standards.
    • Provide functional leadership and mentorship to QA Engineers across 3 product teams.
    • Define and monitor platform-level quality metrics (defect density, automation health, coverage) and drive improvements.
    • Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and promote a problem-solving mindset.

  • CI/CD integration & quality signals
    • Integrate automated tests into Jenkins; enforce gates, parallelization, and health monitoring with role‑based governance.
    • Build automated dashboards (Jira/Xray/TestRail, Confluence) for transparent reporting to stakeholders.

Tech stack & practices

  • Automation: Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) for UI & API; Postman/REST Assured; contract testing (Pact).
  • Performance: k6/JMeter (as applicable).
  • CI/CD: Azure Devops, Jenkins; containers/Docker.
  • ALM/reporting: Jira, Xray, TestRail, Confluence.
  • Governance: RBAC, approvals, compliance/security monitoring in pipelines.

What you bring

  • 8+ years in software testing/quality; 5+ years architecting automation at scale.
  • Proven experience as a Test Architect or similar senior QA role with extensive knowledge of software testing lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Deep hands‑on experience with Playwright + TypeScript; strong API/contract testing; CI/CD integration.
  • Architecture mindset: standards, patterns, test data/env strategy, observability.
  • Collaborative, non‑hierarchical leadership; clear, business‑aware communication.
  • Nice‑to‑have: supply chain/TMS or financial domain; performance testing; cloud (Azure/AWS).

What we offer:

  • Permanent contract
  • Private medical care
  • English courses - financial or co-financed by company
  • Food allowance
  • Work schedule 35h/week
  • Hybrid work
  • Comprehensive onboarding program
