POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for carrying out all customer service activities such
as responding to inquiries, processing orders, and handling complaints, in a prompt courteous and
effective manner.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to Customer inquiries, complaints, inventory status, status of orders, etc., in a prompt,
• Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders
and checking all orders for special requests.
• Prepare any reports as required by manager.
• Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction.
• Maintain damage records and back-order logs.
• Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories.
• Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation.
• Assist in the physical operations as needed.
• Collaborate closely with other departmental staff to coordinate account activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
General Qualities
• Direct warehouse-related experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must work well under pressure as a self-starter, handling multiple tasks -- ability to work across
many accounts, projects, and/or issues and prioritize effectively
• Internally motivated, self-starter with ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to meet goals
and achieve results.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma with post-secondary education in supply chain.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in supply chain.
