SUMMARY
The Sr. Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing HR guidance to the DSV Solutions site in Los Indios, Texas. This position will perform Human Resource duties including: hiring, retention, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, account payables, corporate communication, orientation and training as well as additional administrative functions. The Sr. Administrative Assistant will also support Site Management in recording financial records and processing payments.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

 

Work closely with General Manager to ensure smoot operation of all finance matters

Matching invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoice

Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy

Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondance as required

Plan, organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company's monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner 

Ensure switft payment of invoices

Resolutioni of finance related queries 

Provide financial support to team members

Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role

Work with staff on mitigating chargeback

 

OTHER DUTIES
 Performs other duties as required
 Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation. Participate in established cross training metrics activities with the opportunity to improve their knowledge in multiple areas / departments and be able to assist as a backup when the need may rise.

 

 

PRIMARY INTERACTIONS
 Interfaces with site manager, departmental and cross-functional peers and managers to provide instruction, communicate procedures, and to resolve problems.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
 No supervisor responsibilities, individual contributor.

 

 

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

- General working knowledge of human resources, management skills, problem solving, conflict resolution, ATS, consulting skills, decision making skills, financial, analytical skills, and influence skills.
- Knowledge of ERISA, employment, and labor laws and regulations required.
- Solid knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good PC knowledge and data entry experience.


EDUCATION AND EXEPRIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related area required and a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible human resources experience.
- Must have the ability to coach employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information.
- Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
- Experience in human resource management including problem solving, conflict resolution skills, consulting skills, operational management skills, payroll processing and timekeeping. Knowledge of ERISA, employment, labor laws and regulations required.
PHR or SPHR desirable
