Main Purpose of The Role:
The role is to support and train in planning, delivery and rollout of systems, processes, and changes within DSV Air & Sea. This will include System Upgrade testing and rollouts as well as Level 1 Business Support.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years job related experience in courier and freight forwarding.
Strong administration skills.
Willing to travel both in South Africa and Sub-Sahara Africa.
Qualifications:
Matric (essential).
Advantageous to have Industry level qualification/ tertiary qualification.
Computer packages
Advanced: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
CargoWise One.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Main
- Help plan, design, develop and maintain training materials, quick reference guides, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) etc. in accordance to ISO standards
- Educate and instruct new employees on how to use different business systems in line with Local/Global SOPs and CW1 Blueprint
- Cargowise CW1 (Ops System).
- Any other DSV system/application.
- Educate existing employees on expansion/refresher training in line with Local/Global policies and procedures.
- Cargowise CW1 (Ops System).
- Any other DSV system/application.
- Facilitating of changes and training thereof in systems and processes of staff.
- Facilitate/Train other Air & Sea related training.
- Assist with Country rollouts (SA & SSA).
- Assist with system/application rollouts (SA & SSA).
- Assist and manage change management related activities.
- Cargowise CW1, eDC and C2C Report management.
- Cargowise CW1, eDC and C2C System Testing (UAT)
- eDC and WMS.
- Operations KPI monitoring.
Other:
- Assist in developing and maintaining training curricula, course descriptions, class schedules, evaluation criteria, learning paths, and attendance records.
- Perform necessary assessment to determine competency and provide training where applicable.
- Perform User Acceptance Tests pertaining to system related changes.
- Maintaining training records.
- Project manage system related projects.
- Assume other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your supervisor.

- Ensure that all change initiatives in organization are understood, that users are prepared to adopt the new ways of working ensuring that business processes, working practices, systems and support structures across the business are adjusted to drive tangible and non-tangible business benefits.
- Maintain a strong focus on people and how changes impact them to ensure business risks are mitigated and the impact to people is minimized
- Ensure that specific projects meet objectives, on time and on budget by increasing colleague’s adoption of the new way of working and usage of new processes, systems and technology achieving measured improvements in business operations.
- Optimization of services and achievement of best practice standards.
- Support performance delivery against targets/key performance indicators/outcome measures.
- Providing coaching to enable service re-design knowledge transfer for operational managers alongside the development of a continuous improvement culture.
- Providing reports to management to give them full visibility of current statues and work with them on improvement plans
- Assist and manage change management related activities

- Knowledge and understanding of customer facing applications (myDSV; eDC; Reports etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of Business Supporting Applications (Power BI)
