ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry our tasks regarding file management in a timely and correct manner:

1. 1. documentation check together with the team leader;
   2. collection of missing documents;
   3. preparation of file for pre-clearance\clearance;
   4. follow up of the process with Customs Clearance department;
   5. preparation of file for invoicing;

Update regularly:

1. 6. Operational Maps (excel follow up file) and reports
   7. CW1;
   8. Other files\program as required

Follow instructions of the team leader\management regarding the contact with clients, including:

1. 1. Provide timely and accurate information;

1. 10. Prepare and send status reports as requested;
   11. Advise clients on delays and their consequences (fines, etc);

1. 12. Participate in the meetings with the client;

1. 13. Educate the client on processes and procedures regarding requirements for shipping to Angola and customs clearance checklist;
   14. Other tasks as requested by Senior Freight Forwarder Luanda;

OTHER DUTIES

• • Keep abreast of current and new contracts\tariffs and assist Marketing Sales department as necessary;
  • Endure correct implementation of all DSV Processes and procedures;
  • Keep abreast of DSV services and new developments;
  • Participate actively in improving the quality of DSV operations and services;
  • Apply the IT policy and respect the code of conduct;
  • Carry out other tasks as required by management;

• Ability to be effectively managed through KPI setting and measurement;
• Ability for systematic and rational analysis to identify the root cause of problems;
• Capable to generate creative ideas/solutions;

• Freight Forwarding Know-how;
• Operational know-how (customer service, document processing, customs clearance);
• Understanding of DSV strategy and products;
• Knowledge about markets and competitors;
• Understanding of business principles and language, incl. the fundamentals of finance and profitability;
• Business administration competence;
• Overall understanding of business processes and interdependencies;
• Knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics.

COMPUTER SKILLS

• MS Office skills and good knowledge regarding DSV IT systems;
• Knowledge and adherence to DSV IT policy.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Higher education level.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Fluent in Portuguese and English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILL

• Good numeracy skills required;
• Sound working knowledge of financial metrics and reports;
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
