SUMMARY

Disassemble packs for processing through the salt bath and clean room


 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Load the different pack types on the oven systems either manually or by use of a lifting device for processing.

Must be able to prioritize to meet customer needs.

Must be very safety conscious.

Must follow procedures and instructions.

Each pack type has SOC oven settings and must be set accordingly. Once the packs exit the oven systems and are heated enough to melt the polymer, the bolts are removed and then pack is disassembled.  The polymer is manually removed using a brass putty knife and disposed of. 

Parts are then racked and placed into large metal baskets.  The baskets are submerged into a molten salt bath.

Must perform housekeeping duties.

Must be mechanically skilled and able to assist Supervision in equipment troubleshooting and repairs.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Must be mechanically skilled and able to assist Supervision in equipment troubleshooting and repairs.

Must be able to push the loaded buggies (approx.. 500lbs) about 50 yards

Must be able to lift heavy parts several times during the shift

Must be able to wear the proper PPE and work in extreme conditions.  Work environment will be very hot

Must be able to work 12 hour shifts in the HOT environment and handle HOT equipment
